The Law Library is in the process of adding over 70 titles from the Landmark Law Cases and American Society series, published by the University Press of Kansas, to its collection. You can see a selection of these new arrivals here. All of them can be borrowed either through Interlibrary Loan or, if you're a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, directly from the Law Library. Not registered to borrow? The form is here

"Designed for students and general readers, the Landmark Law Cases and American Society series is composed of compact, authoritative volumes by leading scholars in history political science, and law. The focus of the series is how law and American society inform each other. One of the goals of the series is to demystify law as doctrine and to present legal matters as stories. Each volume includes a chronology outlining the key points in the case. Series volumes have no footnotes, but each has a bibliographical essay on related materials." -- from the publisher
