Administrative Agencies

Emergency Rules

The widespread health emergency caused by COVID-19 disrupted many of the usual procedures in New Hampshire. Administrative hearings, professional licensing and certification, pharmacy prescriptions, schooling and much more were all affected. To keep functioning and to prevent imminent peril to the health and safety of New Hampshire citizens, state agencies have promulgated emergency rules. These are temporary rules that expire much sooner than regular administrative rules.

The Office of Legislative Services, Administrative Rules was posting emergency rules issued during the COVID shutdown online. While emergency rules are still being posted, the rules from 2020 have been removed. The Law Library harvested the documents and has posted them below.  For the most emergency recent rules, check the Administrative Rules website.
