We are very pleased to welcome Eric Stern as the new Digital Initiatives Librarian at the New Hampshire Law Library. Eric earned his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2004 and his Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Rhode Island in 2012. As an attorney, he represented wireless carriers and developers and assisted businesses with general corporate matters. Before coming to the Law Library, Eric was a public library director, most recently at Derry Public Library. He will be responsible for building the Law Library’s digital archive of historical New Hampshire court documents, coordinating the Law Library’s Westlaw partnerships with public libraries throughout the state, and handling reference and collection development duties.
In addition to his librarian and lawyer skills, Eric is a vocalist, screenwriter/filmmaker, antiques collector, fisherman, avid Red Sox fan, and Star Wars and Moxie enthusiast!
