RSA 91-A is New Hampshire's Right-to-Know law but there are many other related statutes. Appendix F (below) is an extensive chart listing statutes, court cases, and rules related to RSA 91-A. The Appendix was excerpted from the Attorney General's Right to Know Memorandum. Be sure to read the disclaimer - the chart is current only through 2014. You can look up the cited statutes and cases using the Revised Statutes Online, Google Scholar, or Westlaw links below.

If you're researching this in the print version of the statutes, the index directs you to look under "Open Meetings." Related topics are "Records and Recordation," and "Confidential or Privileged Information."

If you're searching case law using Westlaw, we suggest that you start by using an index because there are so many cases using many different terms. The main heading in Topics & Key Numbers (accessible from the home page) is 326 Records>Examination, Inspection, and Disclosure, Public Access. See also 15A Administrative Law and Procedure>Administrative Agencies>Meetings and Records. You can also search for more headings using the box labelled "Search for Key Numbers relevant to your issue."

This site is maintained by the law librarians of the John W. King New Hampshire Law Library.
Our guides are for information purposes only and are not comprehensive.
They are intended as starting points for your legal research, to illustrate the various sources of the law, and to provide guidance in their use.
